wij waren hier op 25 augustus voor 1 nacht op doorreis. Er waren een heleboel lege plekken maar wij moesten op een plek gaan staan helemaal achteraan op de camping met een niet zo gezellig uitzicht. Waarom konden we niet op een leukere plaats staan als meer dan de helft onbezet is denk ik dan…..? het sanitair vonden wij niet echt bijzonder, het pad er naar toe is een beetje rommelig. bij de heren was op de dag van aankomst geen zeep in de dispenser en de papieren handdoekjes waren ook op, de vlg ochtend was het nog niet aangevuld. De camping ligt pal aan de doorgaande weg en dat merk je goed qua herrie. Wij betaalden geen acsitarief want dat was nog niet ingegaan maar dat maakt voor de beoordeling niet uit vind ik.
Het dorpje is wel leuk, je kan er zo naar toe lopen door een park langs een meertje en inkopen doen bij de Lidl.

Doortrekcamping aan doorgaande weg. Sanitair is verouderd en beperkt. Plaatsen zijn redelijk rui., maar grotendeels erg scheef. Zonder mover is het lastig je caravan prettig neer te zetten. Saint-Lô is mooi als je van beton houdt.

Een rustige camping vlak bij een interessant historisch stadje met mooie parken. Het santair opcde camping is mooi. Helaas is tijdens ons verblijf er geen warm water. Mooie door heggetjes beschutte plaatsen.

First campsite of our trip. Good distance from Cherbourg ferry port for a stop over. Planned on staying 1 night and ended up staying 2. Short cycle/walk to village and Lidl. Quiet and clean campsite. would recommend.

Lovely site and would visit again. We turned up on D Day in June which was very busy everywhere (most sites fully booked up) having booked a completely different site 6 h drive away by mistake with a similar name, but the owner was lovely and still managed to find room for our Motorhome. We couldn\'t use the Acsi card on those few dates as it was peak time but it was still a great value .

There is a small pool but it has a cover and the temperature of the water and air inside was beautifully warm. The pool area itself was immaculately clean with modern sunbeds positioned around the outside so a lovely ambience for relaxing. The owner was actually in the pool himself on day 2 of our stay scrubbing it clean.

There is a motor home grey water dump area at one end of the site and a long black hose pipe producing mains pressure water so you can fill up your water rank quickly.

There\'s a clean modern heated toilet / shower block ( separate male and female ) with 2 good showers in each. There\'s a chemical toilet dump point outside and a tap adjacent for washing out the toilet cannister. Showers are lovely and hot with adjustable temperatures. Toilet paper is provided and paper hand towels.

The local town is around 6 to 10 min walk away and a good Lidl supermarket around 8 min walk or a 2min drive. There is also a nice walk around a couple of small lakes next to the campsite . We saw people fishing there.

For kids there is a small sports area with astroturf fir playing football or basket ball and there were also hers in the pool for water sports.

There is some occasional minimal road noise at the pitch but it wasn\'t a problem. The pitches are a good size, private with nice hedges around and have good spacing. There\'s electric hook up too at the pitch. Athough there\'s no water at the pitch you can fill up a water container at the toiiet/shower block which has big sinks for dishwashing and laundry washing. There\'s a washing machine and dryer available too at the utility block.

There\'s also a small café /bar on site with some nice decking and seating outside .

Overall the site has a lovely friendly ambience and we would visit again. The French couple who run the site were very helpful. We found our 2 night stay relaxing and hassle free. We would recommend this site for caravans and motorhomes . They also had chalets for rent which looked modern, neat and tidy plus a couple of well constructed half pod half tent type things which you could hire. The hedges and grassy pitches are well maintained , despite one night with heavy rain, the pitch didn\'t get boggy .

Stayed here on nights of 13th and 14th June 2019 on our way back to Cherbourg. The camp site is neat and tidy and the pitches were a good size and well maintained.
The location is excellent with short easy access to the motorway and the Leclerc hypermarket at Agneau is only a ten minute drive for food and fuel.We booked while on another campsite and found communication with Valerie quick and easy and excellent and really went the extra mile to help us sort out a problem of our own making.

LES Lac des Charmilles was an excellent find for us and we plan to stay again next year.

Pleasant site with good facilities, friendly staff and well located for the Cherbourg ferry.

Cadance 5 dagen eind juni op deze camping. Camping: Le Lac des Charmilles. Plaats: Torigni les Villers. Reisgezelschap: Pensionado’s met caravan. Prijs: Campingcard-tarief. Ontvangst: Hartelijke ontvangst in het Engels.
WiFi: Goed. Het eerste half uur free. Paden: Asfalt. Staanplaats: Afgebakend door struikjes en op mooi gras. Sanitair: Netjes en schoon. Inkopen/ brood: Bij het restaurant. Restaurant: Niet gebruikt. Geluid: Overdag verkeer hoorbaar (drukke weg) maar niet erg storend. In de nacht lekker stil. Minpunten: We hebben wel een puntje. Dat betreft de receptie. Waneer er niemand aanwezig is staat er op de deur een telefoonnummer. Echter zonder landnummer. Eindoordeel: Een mooie rustige groene camping met grote plaatsen. Grote supermarkten op 3 km. Ook voor brandstof. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Have stayed here for the last 3 years, site now appears to be under new management but still very good. Toilet facilities are good, pitches tend to be sloping but with a few bits of wood unit easily levelled. Swimming pool good. Nearness to town an advantage, walks around the lake lovely for a stroll after evening meal, if you have a dog even better. Lidl supermarket within walking distance. For the dog owners looking to get pet passport stamped the vet at Conde sur Vire is ideally placed and very obliging. All in all a good site for all ports, Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre.
