Very accommodating throughout. Turned up without pre-booking and given two pitches because of size of unit (9m) for single pitch price with ACSI card. Facilities very clean, staff very friendly. Pool very clean and still lifeguard in attendance even though was last week of season. This was our second visit and shall visit again. 9/10.

Great site for visiting Barcelona and of course Matero staff very good well spoken English up graded the pitch to lager pitch with sea view well with the extra stay 3 nights really lo the site great large showers nice little bar and restaurant reasonably price , shop , would recommend

stayed 4 nights. went into Barcelona twice. everything absolutely fine. Don\'t bookb the tourist bus recommended by the site, use Barcelona Citytours, or use the taxis, they\'re quicker and cheaper.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

This was our first site on arriving in Spain. Our caravan is 8m long and the pitch given was ample to fit on with a little space to spare. Kids are charged at the going seasonal rate, fair enough. The showers and toilets are spotless and were cleaned regularly. Staff on reception spoke good english. Pool was clean and life guard took great pride in cleaning up all the fallen leaves multiple times per day. The water temperature is quite cold but if you’re in on a hot day its quite refreshing. Didn’t try the food. Free shuttle bus to Mataro for the railway to Barcelona. CCA-card. Value for money = excellent.

A great site, stayed here September 2020 during the Covid problems. Site was very quiet but felt very safe. Great hot showers, lovely ( empty ) swimming pool, all pitches are fully serviced with 16 amp electric. No extra charges for electric like in some Spanish sites. Good cycle route along the front with access to all the beaches. Two very good dog friendly beaches within easy reach of the campsite.

This site has a free coach ride to Barcelona in low season and also a shuttle bus to Mataró and the beach. Lovely site with excellent toilet and shower facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and polite.

Excellent stay. Staff at reception/bar/restaurant all spoke English & were friendly & accommodating. Toilets/showers etc always clean & plenty of hot water (probably only complaint was not having individual wash basin cubicles). Washing up facilities good. Food & drink ok. Shuttle buses into Mataró & Barcelona excellent. Thank you. Joined in on ‘Sangria making’ course, that was fun. Also went on walking tour in Mataró was interesting, Francesc was knowledgable. All in all a very enjoyable time. Thank you.

Travelling with an elderly Springer Spaniel and visiting Barcelona city was rather a worry for us....the campsite reception could not have been more helpful. They found a lovely señorita, Monique, who collected our dog from the site, took her to her house in the mountains and sent us photos all day so we could see she was ok. Above and beyond our expectations. The site was large, busy and very well run. The constant bus service, dog friendly too, was a huge bonus...all in all a very good 4 days. We found a grassy pitch near the goats and donkey which was very spacious and shaded. The noise from the road and train easily sorted with earplugs!
