Campsite is located at the foot of the 2114-metres high Petzen, accessible by cable car. Situated directly on Austria's warmest swimming lake, the Pirkdorfersee. Summers up to 27 degrees, but also pleasant weather in spring and autumn. Skiing and ice skating possible in winter. Fine restaurant. Good, heated toilet facilities.

Travelling party: Couple

We were given a large pitch next to the lake with great views of both lake and mountains. Facilities were closed except for the disabled toilet with washbasin and shower, there was a controllable radiator to heat it. The shower had a flexible wand so the shower could be controlled. Pitchside water taps switched off initially. Indoor washing up and launderette charging E3 to use the machines. This site has a hotel/guest house with bar, ‘permanent’ and rented cabins. Glamping was on a separate part of the complex. The bar opens for breakfast, lunch and evenings and the music was a bit annoying at times but ended at 9.30pm on Saturday night. We stayed for 5 nights but the disabled facility available for campers was not cleaned during our stay.
