There are plenty of facilities and the shop was well stocked but obviously quite expensive. The staff were pleasant and spoke good English. The pitches are lovely and there is a lot of shade from the many trees around and the pitch is connected with water facilities. However the toilets and showers are very outdated and in points quite grimy, with tiles missing on the floors, for a 5 star campsite we expected better.

This campsite with its excellent facilities is very good value for money in low season. Yes there is some noise but we didn\'t find it too intrusive. The lakeside location is excellent and the shop on site though well stocked in high season runs down its stock in September and is quite expensive. However, there are twoo supermarkets a very short drive away from the site. Whilst there my wife hurt her leg and the reception staff were very helpful in arranging an appointment with a local doctor.
Must mention the heated outdoor pool which is great.

Personnel très sympa, très bonnes animations le soir, grands emplacements, sanitaires propres, à côté d\'un superbe lac et piste cyclable.

large and exceptionally noisy site into the early hours. Did visit in August but feel the place is more designed for the very young. Toilets/showers very dirty, when I complained I was told they are only cleaned once a day, not good with the amount of people there along with the price they charge. We arrived early evening and they only had 2 pitches left, but I was told the were not good ones. It was either by the toilet block or just as you entered the site, so took that one, but non stop passing people and traffic. Was staying 2 days but left the next morning as unbearable and certainly not worth it per night. Many other people were unhappy with the toilet facilities also and were trying to arrange leaving.
Not a pleasant or relaxing night, or a decent meal.

Visiting in early June the site felt more spacious but it would be hectic in high season. Sites varied in size and ground not always grassy. restaurant adequate but food fairly simple ie pizza and steak. Pool area lovely. Plenty to see in the region and a good stopover if on way to north Spain. We stopped on way and on way back, Much busier at end of June. Arrive early if you want a pick of sites.

Excellent reception in a very well appointed site. Very well stocked Spar shop and great all round facilities for high season holidaymakers (a time which we would avoid!). Everything you need. Fully serviced hedged pitches and ours was close to the wonderful lakeside beach. Our Labrador enjoyed her swims in the adjacent Marina waters. Bar and restaurant, pretty good! A very relaxing site out of high season. Have downgraded toilet facilities as ladies and gents not separate (Always told it\'s a French thing but not the case on all French sites)

This is a huge site very much geared to children. There is a well stocked shop on site and lots of other facilities. The pitches were good with hedges providing privacy and water available. Toilet and shower facilities were not exceptional but okay. There is a nice private beach onto the lake (no dogs allowed) but unlike the previous reviewer WE WOULD NOT LET OUR DOG INTO THE WATER IN ANY CIRCUMSTANSES. The ditches feeding into the lake looked and smelled of sewage!!

A brilliant campsite on the shore of Lake Biscarrosse. Good sized pitches - ours was a minute away from the sandy beach of the lake. Amazing pool complex with 2 spa pools, a laned off pool for serious swimmers and 2 water slides. We were only here for 3 nights en route further south so did not take advantage of all that was on offer. The little supermarket looked good as did a gift shop. A large bar and entertainment complex had something on every night but it always ended at 11pm. Excellent shower facilities and toilets with loo paper!! The lake is massive and to drive round just some of it, stop for a drink or meal would make for a lovely short trip. A bit further away is the tallest sand dune in Europe, Pyla. It is well worth a visit. The whole area is bike friendly. We would definitely go back.

This site is VERY NOISY. The entertainment area is open and the sound really travels. Although we were several roads away from the entertainment area we could still hear the boom-boom in our caravan even with our TV on. We heard it in the afternoon and at night - it goes on until 11.30pm. In July and August there is a disco until 2.00 am three times a week! We were going to stay the week but left after just ONE night (Sunday Sept 2nd) because of the noise. We spoke to two of our neighbours and both complained of the noise and said they were leaving. We moved to another site and our french neighbour there said he'd left because of the noise. It was a shame because the pool area looked very nice (but we never got to use it) and the site was clean but it is very big. It is not a good site for early or late breaks if you want a relaxing and peaceful holiday. This NOISY entertainment may appeal to teenagers but I honestly think they are not the majority of the site's customers.
