Travelling party: Couple

Simply had to return again - this time for my 50th. Owners are amazing, so accommodating and keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Lovely place, new pool, clean & tidy, rural/rustic, quiet and tranquil. Beautiful area to explore on foot and on bike. Nearby village (15-20min walk) has cash machine, restaurant, pharmacy and proxi market. Will return next year for sure - carp fishing is exceptionally good! Thank you Helen & Pete for making our stay so special x

Travelling party: Seniors

Stayed 3 nights at beginning of season in my motor home. Superb location, large well maintained pitches. Warm toilet and shower facility available.Owners most welcoming and bar even open 5- 7 pm although no other campers on the site!
Excellent walking in the area. Lakes are impressive and certainly looked to be well stocked with fish. Frog chorus soothing at night!!

Enjoyed a fantastic week in May this year. Fishing exceptional at this great campsite. All facilities excellent and well worth a stay. Many thanks for your hospitality and thoroughly recommend the area for sightseeing. Kind regards, the Danns

Fabulous 4 night stay. Made even more enjoyable by the exceptional standard of Carp fishing - wild, lean, natural and not over fished. Fine specimens to be caught. We will definitely return, and can\'t wait to do so! The other wildlife in the area is outstanding too - beautiful butterflies, resident Jays, Beaver Rats (completely harmless and on an island) and wild deer. Lovely owners with a real passion for their business. Worth every Euro.

A totally beautiful campsite. Very peaceful apart from the frog chorus. The owners are charming and speak excellent English. The surrounding countryside is spectacular although when we were there the weather was absolutely terrible. I can imagine that in warm weather it would be idyllic. Not for those who can't live without their wifi and mobile phones, but that was part of its charm

We were dissappointed that the showers and toilets had not yet been cleaned for the season although it was already the middle of May. We stayed for four days and left because the weather was bad. Otherwise we loved the campsite, although we cannot cycle here.

What a beautiful site! Would love to have stayed longer but only managed 3 nights. The frog chorus is really something else! but be warned - it can keep you awake at night!!
The owners are really friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. It was so peaceful when we were there, but no-doubt in the height of season it gets very busy and much noisier.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

This was our second stop on our 8 week tour and the first time we had stayed in a tent. The weather was awful but other than that the campsite was nice. The facilities were basic but clean. Our only quibble was with the low flying military aircraft on night excercises, of which we'd not been warned about.
