Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

In more than thirty years of camping cross Europe this is the worst campsite we have stayed on. The pitch we were shown to was covered in litter, we collected a sack of it before entering the pitch. We found the pitch too small even for our small camper van. We moved to another pitch for which we had to pay extra, which was larger although little cleaner. The whole campsite, including the toilet facilities, had the same appearance of neglect, unweeded gardens, uncut grass and uncleaned pitches. We had our two young grandchildren with us. The children's play area was on gravel and not a soft surface and there were no traffic carming measures on the site. If you are thinking about going, think again.
