Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

We only stayed one night on our journey up France. The campsite was set in a really beautiful area. The staff seemed a bit off to be honest but maybe it was just a long day. Bouncy castle for the kids was fantastic. The toilets weren\'t great at all sadly

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

We stayed at Villey le Sec on the way down south, but decided to come back early to stay for a longer period as we enjoyed our first short stay.
Staff are excellent, site generally has a very good layout with plenty of space. The visitors change daily, predominantly Dutch & German.
The overflying aircraft are noisy but generally only once or twice a day. Walking/cycling along the river is very nice, plenty of interesting river traffic.
A large LeClerc supermaket and petrol/LPG/GPL station is located on the main Nancy-Toul road & the site shop offers a range of products as well.
We are going back in 2015.

Travelling party: Seniors

On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and sorted out our double motorhome pitch in no time even though the site looked quite full. The restaurant was very good considering there was one waitress & one chef doing all the work and catering for about 16 people. Good cycling along the river Mosel. Aircraft noise is very loud at times.

There are two access roads, make sure you choose the correct one when leaving if you want to keep your clutch intact.Very much a Dutch stopover site, convenient for the motorway. Not much locally of interest, though good for aircraft enthusiasts. Facilities were average. We were charged a deposit when we booked on the interent, when we arrived on site they denied any knowledge of it, so if you book and recieve an email for a deposit, don't pay it.

Travelling party: Couple

A very convenient camp site when travelling up north/down south from Belgium & Luxemburg. Toilet facilities very good and very clean, even late in the evening. A high turnover in campers as this is primarily a stopover site. A very steep access road to the site, which could leave less efficient car/caravan combinations stranded. Did not test the restaurant although its existence was profusely signaled by the site responsible. We had a quiet spot, large and no jets practising when we were staying. The camp site is in my humble opinion prone to flooding in season, being close to the Moselle river and with no elevation at all. Toul, the city nearest to the site, can boast one splendid cathedral and cloister, but seemed a very provincial northern french town otherwise.
