Stayed for 3 nights coming back from Holland. Very good location. Found a very good vet in nearby Ardres to get the dog sorted before coming home.
This was our last campsite visited in our motorhome before returning home to the UK. We received an excellent welcome, with all the information one could need. The site is obviously ideal for a Calais crossing, although we crossed from Dunquerque. It is a nicely set out site with large pitches and various entertainments. The on-site cafe and adjacent restaurant (where we ate - very good) are excellent features, especially for motorhomers.
Had stayed here before but was disappointed this time (May20-22). Grass and overhanging branches on pitch needed attention.
After we bought drinks at the bar we were told the free wifi was not available! Wouldn't have bought drinks if we'd known!
My husband and I stayed at this campsite for four nights in May. What a fantastic place, the toilets and showers were spotless and modern and the pitches were a good size too.We visited the restaurant which was excellent and good value for money. While we were there we had an emergency back in the UK, the staff bent over backwards to help us and even allowed us to leave our caravan there while we got things sorted out. The girl on reception (Amy) was lovely and she helped us. Looking forward to going back next week. Just hope the weather has improved.
The price charged out of season is high given the very limited facilities available. The showers were locked after our first night, only one toilet block was open.
Useful site for access to ferries and restaurant good.
A lovely site. Friendly and most helpful. A great place to unwind before or after the tunnel. Booked the vet for us. A wonderful restaurant .
Very good stopover before and after ferry. Been three times, clean and friendly. Large pitch. Slight drawback with noise from farm birdscarer.
A lovely, well kept campsite within a few minutes drive of Calais. Great for stopovers. Large pitches and efficient staff. Need to book in high season as does get very full.
We arrived at the site at 6pm on June23 we had been told by ACSI that we could not book, so were astonished to find it 'complet'. The owner was unpleasant and exasperated at the number of people using the ACSI card. When we offered to pay full price 2 pitches were available. Does he want to be in the scheme or not?
Once again, used this site as stepping off point outbound and inbound and unquestionably the organisation and efficiency of the staff is without question. The site itself is very well maintained and clean. My only concern about the toilet facilities is that in at least one block male and female use the same facilities and I personally feel uncomfortable about children coming in unaccompanied whilst I was using the urinal. The drainage facilities for motorhomes is totally unsatisfactory. A large diameter hose is fitted to the drainage outlet on the motorhome, which promptly fills and has to be lifted to drain. Wouldn't a simple grid be cheaper and more efficient? But otherwise a good site that I will be using again.
