We really enjoyed our stay here, the family who ran the site are delightful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. The facilities are old but are very clean and charming, almost quirky. Very good restaurant across the road from the site. We both just love the atmosphere of this place.

Lovely setting and friendly owners. Weather was atrocious so a local shop would have been handy as campsite had bread and wine but not much more. Supermarket in Ingrandes about 30 mins walk away but not reliable hours. Nice restaurant next to campsite does good, affordable menu du jour at lunchtime. Grass pitches so many vans had to be towed out as so muddy.

Excellent walking maps available to borrow from reception. The site is used by many as an overnight stop but it is certainly worth staying a while to explore the area. We look forward to returning.

Absolute gem of a site. Stayed 4 nights just before site closed for winter - very large pitches, excellent toilet facilites, warm welcome from helpful owners, peaceful/tranquil. Lots of very interesting places to visit including Tours and Richelieu. Good supermarkets handy.
One of our 'must return' sites.

Massive pitches marked out and in an open aspect. Old fashioned but clean & effective sanitary facilities. Attractive swimming pool with loungers & umbrellas. Well placed for visits to region. Restaurant/takeaway just outside grounds.

Only stayed 1 night, but if we visit again it will be for longer. Owner, pitch and facilities are excellent, just beware of the gateway a little narrow.

Out of season this is truly a little paradise. We stayed en route South for one night; then elected to leave early to make sure we had sufficient time to stay again for longer. In all we have pitched 5 times - all the time on the way somewhere but fully intend to take advantage of an more extended stay. Sanitary faciities always clean; the pool is excellent when the weather lends itself to use. I think we stayed the first time when the new owner had just taken over; things were a bit meagre but his enthusiasm and warm welcome overcame any inadequacies; he is charming and very helpful and speaks excellent English. There is a lovely restaurant just off site and the lady waitress/owner also speaks several languages. I would recommend this to anyone both visiting the Loire or just passing though. We stayed 4 times in 2010 and will do so again in 2011.
