A lovely site very quiet in mid September. It’s split into two sections we stayed on the lower half although the upper half had better views of the mountains. The pool is lovely and the restaurant although limited on choices was excellent. No where to walk the dogs and no grey waste disposal were the only niggles but would definitely return. Very helpful staff.
Located in a beautiful wooded area a few kilometres inland from the busy coastal road. Toilet/shower block not fully open when visited but as site was quiet, they were adequate. The pool is a gem, ideal to cool down in the hot sun. Good bar and restaurant.
Quiet camping in the middle of the woods with nice surroundings. The camping is divided in two parts by a public road. We stay near the swimmingpool were was few people, In this side of the camping the toilets could be better. We stay for one night.
My wife and I are both in our mid 70s and caravan in 2013 we spent 8 weeks with our caravan staying mostly on sites in the CC books, in all cases we found the site information very good, with good directions but the best of the stes was in fact the Les Phillippons the our best stay. which was in mid September, the staf were very helpfull and made us very welcome The near by village was very good with smallshops etc .after Mass on Sundays we visit the very near -by Cafe where we met other campers I can recommend this site and its localion to any one, its got the sea and the mountains and gorges etc.We do wish that the UK site could come upto the standards and cost of those in the rest of the EU we have been travelling in the EU for the past 30 years or so
A very pretty campsite set in an exclusively pretty area with little to do. Frejus & tacky seaside resorts nearby seem the only attactions. Was show to a choice of 4 pitches on golf-cart by very friendly old gentleman, although the younger male owner was absolutely MISERABLE. He was rude to my wife for washing clothes in toilet block supposedly closed. When I challenged, no real apology other than saying that he thought my wife was campsite intruder... Does she look like an intruder? The owner was miserable from the start and made us feel unwelcome. He is running a HOLIDAY destination & the least he can do is smile & greet people... People like to feel welcome when on holiday. Finally left (early) when he suddenly herded everyone next to each other (even though less than 7 people on site). He should try to ensure this doesn't happen when campers are few as people like their privacy.
A lovely appearing site & nothing to complain of other than feeling uncomfortable due to owner.
