Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed from late Sept into Oct 2016.
This is a pretty large site (with a lot of cabins) and I don\'t think I would want to be here at the very height of the season. Lovely clean pool and decent restaurant. The Friday night Moules and frites is excellent value.
The pitches vary in size a fair bit so it\'s worth checking a few out before deciding which one you want. It\'s right alongside a river so mozzies can be an issue if camped near to it.
Two sanitary blocks, the older \"Africa\" block is pretty tired but is kept SPOTLESS, the newer Argentina block is far nicer though, plenty of hot water and decent sized shower cubicles. On site shop has reasonable stock and bakes bread twice a day. Even better it sells wine on draught! Bring your own bottle (and its not bad either)
The beach is about 700m walk through a nature reserve, the beach is lovely BUT (if it\'s an issue for you) it\'s a naturist beach. It is VERY clearly clearly signed as such so if you wish to avoid it you simply turn right before getting to the actual beach. (High bushes so you won\'t see anything) until you get to the non naturist bit. The beach is a kite surfing area as well but there is a lot of beach enjoy.
Large supermarket about a mile distant, Frejus and St Raphael a bit further but an easy bike ride and the promenade delightful to walk along, as is the port area with the expensive yachts to drool over! St Tropez is about 50 mins by car but parking can be difficult (use the underground ones) It\'s about the same time by bus. All in all an excellent place to stay.
We certainly enjoyed our stay and will almost certainly return.

Good site in superb location close to a beautiful naturist beach and only a short cycle from Frejus and St Aygulf. Very friendly, good pitches, all in all a pleasant few days. We will return as the beach is so good and so close and there is much to do. The only negatives are the rather dangerous site entrance on a blind bend of the busy coast road; and one of the sanitary blocks is simply ancient! We used the other, but understand there are plans to replace or update the \'Africa\' block.

We called for 3/4 nights but stayed 17 nights, Toilets were tired but a new block had been built although it was a good walk from the touring pitches. The staff were brilliant and the beach and surrounding area are full of things to do ie bars, cafes, shops and a supermarket 1km away. Also the weather 17 days of sunshine.

Reaction from the campsite January 11, 2017

Thank for the interest in our Campsite. We are well aware that one toliet block is the older one , but he\'s clean, so as the other both.
We are happy that you passed excellent holidays . We hope to see you soon .

We enjoyed ten nights on this site in 2015 and had looked forward to our return. Sadly our motor home was broken into whilst stocking up with provisions at the nearby Geant supermarket and everything of any value was taken. This left us with no iPads or telephones and so we were extremely grateful to the wonderful staff on reception who did so much to help and support us. They even contacted a local motor home repairer who arrived within 20 minutes and identified and ordered broken window fittings. This is a good site with a super pool and within easy walking distance of a good sandy beach. Staff even called round to our pitch several days later to check we were OK!

Enjoyed our stay on this site. Positives are that its very near to the beach and you can easily cycle to Frejus, St Raphael and St Aygulyf, all worth a visit. The swimming pool is lovely and clean and the temperature of the pool is good. We were near the back of the campsite and the toilet block there is a bit run down, worth the walk to the new block. Motorhome service point easily accessible. During our two night stay, we had a forest fire and the worst storm all in one day - the site is in a flood plain and at one point they thought they might have to evacuate the campsite due to the forest fire. As is normal for this area, the pitches were small and quite tight to manoeuvre into. We enjoyed our stay though and would recommend.

This is, without doubt, one of the best sites we’ve stayed at in France. We booked a week and stayed for almost three. The owner was very friendly with helpful staff. We stayed on a pitch near the river Argens and the scenery was stunning with a colony of parakeets in the trees across from our caravan. There were plenty of showers available although one section was closed as it was going to be renovated for next season. I just hope they dont reduce the pressure or temperature as the showers, although dated, were great. The pitches were spacious and easily held our caravan, car and awning. The pool area was clean with the water heated and was a great place to relax with plenty of sun beds. The little snack bar was cheap and the supermarket on site sold delicious bread. I was told that in the height of the season they sold 1,000 baguettes a day. The beach, about 700 yards away down a track through a conservation area, was lovely looking over to Frejus on one side and St Aygulf on the other. We cycled to the beach and it took just a couple of minutes. Lots of cycling in the area and the village of Gourdon in the mountains is a must. Be aware that in October there is a massive mountain bike event and the site will be busy.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in May and arrived to a very friendly welcome, everything was open and the shop had reasonable prices, a lovely heated pool, an an enthusiastic animation team. The pitch avenues were lovely, part shady and well marked and a good size. The sanitaire blocks were a little dated but were in the process of being updated and work was going on while we were there. There\'s a lovely beach with different sections , which is about 10 mins walk? The lovely river Argens flows along one side of the site. The only downsides to this site is that it is off a very busy fast road with the entrance/exit on an almost blind bend. (not easy when towing). Also the dog/lead rule was not being applied and there were too many loose dogs. We enjoyed our stay.

Arrived to a friendly welcome , plenty of information at reception but you need to ask for bus time table .Nice clean pool with beach 1/2 mile . Level pitches ,motorhome service area and it's a good one . Water park nearby but closed on our visit . Yes a nice clean tidy site but could get very busy at peak times .
