Don\'t use the listed co-ordinates to find this site, it takes you to a residential area behind the campsite!
Just look for the large sign on the East side of the D4. Entrance is down a long single track road (with a few passing places). Nice quiet campsite in late September, owners very helpful, but very little English. Pool closed and being cleaner when we arrived and river not very accessible with work being done to repair banks. Good as a stopover or for a couple of days.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Excellent campsite in great surroundings.
Good food and drinks at good prices.
If your doing the Paris to Lyon run or coming up from the south of France, good site, good facilities and nice menu and evening meal

Very good site however if you try to find this site from the south the signing is very difficult to spot. The site is south of the village and directions need to be improved however when you do find the site it is a very good site. Reception and staff very welcoming clean facilities lovely pool will revisit when in this area again... would recommend this for a stay!

A very acceptable campsite that we only stayed on for one night. A particular benefit was water near to practically every pitch. Big supermarket within 2 miles.
Only criticisms were that the site is almost too well shaded (trees/pitch hedges very high indeed & it felt a bit gloomy, although it was overcast & this might be very welcom when hot), a distant railway line can also be heard, although the site was very peaceful & this didn't disturb us one bit.
I did want to pay by card, but the owner was reluctant to do this to the extent that I paid cash rather than debate it. I wasn't offered a receipt either.
With the pool facilities (which I didn't use), it seemed a good site for children.

Travelling party: Single

It's significant that none of the photos on the website show the actual camping area: most of the pitches are entirely grassless, so that one is in effect pitching a tent on mud. Facilities good but slightly tired-looking (admittedly, it was late in the season, and one of the sanitary blocks had been shut down). Otherwise, a pleasant site.
