What a lovely site handy for a lot of places when you book on the site you get a voucher for free travel which means trains and buses and you can leave your car at the train station for free. The toilet block was always lovely and clean as was the washing machine area and the washing up point. The only two things we didn\'t like was the wifi as you had to pay for the amount of time you wanted and the electricity was on top of your bill but we ran most of our stuff by the solar panel or gas which did help. The swimming pool was different but very nice in the hot weather. The site was nice and clean and easy to find we stayed here for 2 weeks and was made very welcome by the owners and all the people on site only us English for part of our holiday but everyone spoke to us. Supermarket is just up the road and was very good we would recommend this site and would return thank site owners
Toilet and showers very good. Camping pitches quite spacious. Picturesque surroundings with lots of opportunities for walking and cycling. Some of the pitches are quite a long way from the entrance so quite a walk before you can exercise your dog. Wifi ridiculously expensive.
As well as an environment tax (which seems common in Germany) there was another tax which I think is a spa tax. We were also charged for using more than 4kw per night, which was clearly a mistake.
A first class site with large pitches, friendly staff and magnificent shower and toilet facility - spotless, lesson for all other campsites here. Local produce sold in the little shop and a small evening menu offered. Free Black Forrest train and bus journeys included within the price.
Easy to find and access. A wide entrance. Our pitch, although adequate, it was not overgenerous in space and on gravel. There was a live music with a BBQ at the weekend. The village is a short walk with markets at various times. Freiburg is a natural destination and the free public transport from the campsite is worth using for the train. Our cost of staying rocketed due to our dates colliding with Whit-weekend, which meant our ACSI was of little value at this campsite. The cable car up the mountain near Freiburg is well worthy of using. It is possible to drive up and some people were even cycling up the mountain, but we were content to be hoisted up by cable. Again, although there is a charge for the cable car, the free public transport to and from the station outside Freiburg is free and easy to use. The swimming pool is supposed to be based on an ecco ideal, but, we, and many others were not convinced of its murky benefits. Used mastercard
