Stayed Mid may and site very quiet, staff very friendly and had choice of pitches, toilets and general site very clean. Used to shuttle to station for visit to Rome which was very easy even with our 10yr old springer. Pool a bit on small side but if you want good facilities and easy access to Rome Spot on.

I arrived late and was well received with a get a pitch and sort booking in with reception in the morning. The staff are warm and welcoming and try to help where they can but always with a smile. My 3 devices could not get on the internet which was a bit pants. The site caters for groups and mobile homes which shows in the toilet facilities. Water was hot and adequate but the grafter on the doors let it down. The cubicles themselves could do with some bleach or a good steam clean in some of them as getting grotty. The pitches for campers have no hard standing so as it was damp and did rain it\'s a little dirty under foot. I didn\'t put the awning up. A little attention to detail could make this site a lot better value for the money. The bar was pleasant with sport on the TV and music. I didn\'t try the food but pizza seemed popular. The bus stop was outside which took you to the train to Rome. The shuttle bus didn\'t do a 10am run which seemed the most popular time at the bus stop??? The pool was understandably close. There was a carp pool if you fancied fishing. It\'s in a good location for Rome but could do better.

Arrived on the Saturday evening about 1300.
Was told on arrival we have to pay in advance for our duration although we did not know how long we were staying. This was NOT stipulated in the ACSI book and this is the first time this has happened during our 4 month of a 12 month holiday in europe!
We pre booked the shuttle bus from the site for the Sunday morning knowing all museums and archaeological sites are free on the first Sunday of the month in Italy. The only thing which is free in Italy!.
Had a great day visiting the Vatican and the Coliseum despite the long cues.
The site was very very noisy on the first day because they had a party going on in the bar and the music was deafening.
They told us it would not go on late but it did.
I heard music coming from the bar at 0115 although they said the quiet time was from 2300- 0730 the next morning.
Dont get me wrong we are not prudes and we like a good rave but if they say one thing and do another then i get p***** off with that!
I went for a lovely hot shower in the lower block and the water was only tepid not worm or hot.
The swimming pool is the worst we have seen in the 4 months we have been in Spain., France and Italy.
this place does not live up to it. in our opinion and we shall be asking for a discount off our bill when we leave this morning tor the boat to Barcelona BUT I wont hold my breath.
To sum up our stay at this site...
Shuttle bus driver very happy and a pleasure but the rest
AWFUL :-(

Spent two nights here. Nice large shady pitch, although not that busy when we visited. Super convenient to Rome, shuttle bus will drop you at Vatican City for 5 euro return. Can\'t beat this service. Staff were super, knowledgable and spoke great English. Bathrooms exceptional. Very impressed, nice sight.

The site is handy to visit Rome, pitches are of fair size and access is good. Toilets and showers were clean and no problems with hot water. Originally was going to use for a couple of nights but was on for over a week due to circumstances. We would use again.

We have stayed in your camping for 2 days. Nice camping :) , very close to Rome. We have a single complaint. The GPS coordinates which are written on this site (42 /0/35 N ; 12/30/13 E) led us to the entrance of Flaminio Cemetery, instead of the entrance of Tiber camping :( !!! We were lucky with one lady from the cemetery which has shown us on the map of the cemetery how to rich the camping :) . So, please check the GPS coordinates ! Rome is AMAZING

A great camp site within easy reach of Roma. A bus/car service shuttles you to and from the campsite on the hour (except between 1-3pm). 1.50 euro return. A huge range of pitches supported by spotless toilets/showers. (free) wifi was very patchy during our stay and the restaurant provides average but cheap meals. Highly recommended.

Nice campsite with huge pitches, especially if you go to the end of the campsite. Went to Prima Porta but it is a small scruffy town, not a lot to do in the area. Wifi only near shop which was hard work. We used this site to visit Rome as you can get the bus from the campsite to the station. Train journey was very easy. So a good place if you only want to visit Rome.
Facilities are good and staff are friendly.

Disappointed after having been here twice before. A change of management doesn\'t seem to have been a good move here. The swimming pool was cleaned well each night but poorly managed with kids peeing in the pool from the side, the ladder into the pool loose.., everything else seemed to have also deteriorated. The restaurant was very friendly, but the menu was basic. The shop was reasonable stocked (as long as you want to eat at the restaurant!), the cabins were very under-equipped (again - make you eat at the restaurant), the staff very nice but not like the previous owners smiling faces, the toilet block was not cleaned as well as it was before.. the washing machines were basic and didn\'t function very well. Overall, we were disappointed and will probably try a different site next time.

Outstanding campsite, for all others to copy! Situated just North of Rome, Prima Porta train station nearby at 1.5 km, campsite bus @ €1 return, then day travel in Rome (20 mins) with BIG ticket for €6 (train, bus, metro, tram). If not, bus 20 just outside runs at 10 and 40 mins past the hour. Very friendly staff, so helpful and caring when hospital needed. Large dog field, secure and safe. Excellent restaurant with reasonably priced meals of large quantity. Good pitches, lots of shade, new sanitation. Can\'t really fault it! Also cheap bungalows available for short or long stays. 10 out of 10 for us!
