Travelling party: Seniors

By Lake Maggiore. On checking in we were told no restaurant, no bread etc as it was so late in the season which contradicted ACSI information. Wash block looks a little tired. Although shower cubicles are outside the block, they are actually self contained pods and are really quite good: modern, hot and clean. Hot showers require a card (available at reception) to be charged with money but ACSI customers get this refunded on leaving the site. There is a beach area where kayaks/ boats can be launched. The big plus for this site is the wonderful view of the lake which is beautiful and a welcome contrast to the bustling Garda.
