Lovely location, showers and toilet facilities were great, very clean and tidy, good hot and powerful showers. Lake difficult to swim in due to stones leading down to it. Pitches are great and campsite is well laid out. Make sure you take your earplugs as there was some train noise and a big frog symphony at night. Great little shop along the waterfront to get bread and fresh goods. Great for a relaxing rest after the drive from the UK.

Site access by the lake into village. Whilst key entry was requied from the road for driving or walking access was open from the beach at all times.

Lovely site right by the side of the lake with its own sandy beach.
The reception staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The pitches are flat and of a reasonable size with plenty of shade. The toilet and shower blocks are kept exceptionally clean with plenty of hot water. We can recommend the pizzas from the onsite restaurant, these ranged from 6.50 - 9.50 euros. There is a lovely little promenade into the small village where there are around 4 restaurants overlooking the lake. There is also a supermarket about 5 minutes walk away that stocks a wide range of fresh products. The site is very secure with a night watchman. We would definitely recommend this site. ACSI payment is by cash only.

This is a great site and in a great location, we stayed here for 3 weeks, 1 week finding our surroundings and 2 weeks with family visiting in Baveno. Right on the lake, good size pitches, quiet site, good restaurant, mixed reception staff (younger lady very helpful, older lady very grumpy). Town of Feriolo is right outside gate with some very good restaurants and coffee/cake places. You can cycle to Baveno which has a ferry terminal to all the great places to visit - the 3 islands, Stresa, Verbania and Locarno (Switzerland). You can also cycle to Stresa not cycle route all the way however motorists seem to be courteous. Sanitary Facilities are kept clean and tidy. Downside have to pay for wifi. ACSI visitors have to pay cash regardless of length of stay. Recommended.

We loved this site and found it an excellent choice. It was on the edge of the lake and had lovely views over the water to the towns and hills around. In the evening though the views were magical with lights twinkling and reflecting over the water from dusk to dark. The pitches were a good size, mostly gravel and part sun part shade. There were three grades of pitch, 16 euros for standard at the back of the site, 18 euros for nearer the lake and 20 euros for front row lakeside pitches. The site has a bar and restaurant which, although we didn’t try it, was always busy during our stay, a good recommendation in itself. They also sold take away pizzas which we did try and found excellent. The village of Feriolo di Baveno is just outside the gates with further restaurants along the waterfront as well as boat trips on the lake. The site is child friendly with quiet and safe roads, a small playground for younger children and a lovely private sandy beach. Dogs were not allowed on the campsite beach but we were able to walk our dog on the public beaches near the site. The reception was mixed. The first girl was very friendly but the next one made us wait while she finished her photocopying! Both were efficient though and able to help with our enquiry. The toilets and showers were plentiful and clean but like a lot of Italian sites, no loo seats or toilet roll provided. There were good dishwashing, washing machine and ironing facilities. The site seems very popular with both Germans and English. We stayed two nights and had to pay in cash when we left.

Very nice campsite. Quiet, very large emplacements, shadowed, spectacular surroundings, close to Feriolo, a very nice village. Bathing in Lago Maggiore is a superb experience. One of the best campings I've been to.

Very nice campsite at the lake, pitches approx 7 x 9 meters. Nice area for smaller walks into town or nearby walking track. We cycled to Spressa which was most of the way along the road but at no point we felt unsafe as drivers seems to take notice. Lovely lake and lots of things to do. We have lots of fond memories of our time here.

This site is in a lovely setting right on the lakeside, with spectacular views of the mountains. The pitches are a fair size but quite scruffy. The toilet block was very clean and the showers were excellent. The bar/restaurant is good but only opens 12 - 2 and 6.30 - 10.3. The shop is rasonable but there is a good little supermarket in the village about five minutes walk away. The roads are twisty and very busy so cycling is not very easy. Even though it was May, they would not give us the ASCI rate because they said it was a German school holiday and they were very busy so be careful near the end of May.

lLvely site next to magiori. Lake side pitches extra but worth it. Very clean facilities. Very reasonably priced restaurant on site. Village just a short walk with small supermarket, bars, cafes.
