Beware which exit you take off autostrada, from north take second exit. I took first and following campsite signage ended up going through Narni in a large motorhome..not recommended. The site is beautiful, the campsite owner was wonderful and our pitch was firm which we needed after a period of prolonged rain in Italy. Facilities not new but spotless and always hot showers. Recommended walk into Narni a good length but beautiful as is Narni itself. This was our perfect country halt before we tackled the big cities.

Friendly warm welcome from the owners and helpful throughout our stay. Wooded, shaded and peaceful pitch in nice environment. Sanitary facilities clean and good hot showers. No toilet seats or paper, however, which we feel falls below modern acceptable standards. Hand washing at sinks difficult as no draining board. Wifi free at reception. ACSI book information misleading - public transport has to be booked the day before; the train station for Rome necessitates a 20 km drive (no bus) and credit cards are not accepted in low season which is exactly the time most ACSI members visit! Never-the-less, we enjoyed our stay.

A lovely site with spacious pitches, both sunny and shady. The owners make you feel so welcome, offering lots of help and advice on the surrounding area. Nothing is too much trouble. Visiting Rome was very easy. Would definitely use this site again.

What a nice campsite! Very friendly staff, excellent clean facilities including very good showers and constant hot water. There are a couple of nice old towns nearby including Narni, apparently C.S. Lewis based Narnia in his childrens books on the area (hmmm). Overall a very pleasant experience and very relaxing - thanks everyone!

Travelling party: Seniors

All sanitary facilities were clean but very basic and the showers were more or less open to the elements -fine when hot but when we visited it was on the chilly side. They were also in the process of being repainted so the season must be short as this was mid May. Very friendly owner. Motorhome emptying difficult as on grass and couldn't be accessed as the weather had been very wet. Good recycling. Usual tepid water for washing up. Handy for sightseeing - Narni and Spoleto are good.

Used as a transit site when travelling back up from Pompei. Very friendly family run site. Quiet with plenty of shade. Smell from the restaurant was really enticing - reget not having time for a dinner there. Toilets were ok, but shower block needs updating but satisfactory.

We used this site as a stop over on the way through Umbria. What a little gem. On arrival the lady at reception greets you with a very warm welcome. She then took us around the site to look for a suitable pitch. The pitches are of ample size for larger campers, the power supply is more than ample. The facilities if you have young children are fantastic, there is plenty for them to do. The restaurant is very popular with guests and the prices are extremely reasonable. but more than that, the place just has an ambience about it. From the minute we arrived, relaxation was instantaneous. Would definetely stay here again.
