There is much that is Ok about this site - location is right beside Lake Garda giving an easy walk to either Garda or Bardolino. However recommend that if pre-booking stress the size of your unit as some pitches are VERY small. Also manouvering can be very tricky as some roads are only single carriage width and with cars parked on the edge of narrow pitches and olive trees on tight corners it is very easy to damage your van if not extremely careful. Had a very disappointing takeaway pizza from their restaurant - did not go back again. It would not be our first choice site if we were ever back in that area.

Very disapppointing.Pitches very tight, hemmed in & no privacy.Showers just a tiny cubicle with nowhere for clothes & need updating. Well stocked & reasonably priced campsite supermarket.Location excellent which was the only reason we stayed but doubt we would return. Dont worry about first three rows, no views from any pitch anyway.

Travelling party: Couple

What should have been a very pleasant stop of a few days in a great location turned out to be one of the least enjoyable stops on our six week tour of Europe. We were given a pitch (for our trailer tent) which transpired to be about 30 metres from the kids disco - complete with flashing lights, floodlights and a truly dreadful animation team. The kids need this sort of thing, I agree, they are on holiday too but we should have been warned. The campsite had lax security which let in drunks from another site up the road and we eventually got to sleep about 2 in the morning. The next day we wasted half a day moving to another pitch which dripped sticky gunge on our tent from the trees. We were praying for rain just to get the tent clean.
What kind of nitwit on reception would think that seniors - without children - would want to be next to a disco? Total incompetence!

This area, however, was wonderful.

A pleasant lakeside site with individual pitches, trees and grass and new sanitary blocks. Unfortunately, there was no toilet paper nor soap in these; not what was expected in 2012.

We were there for 5 days. Located directly at the lake of Garda, between the Grarda (1,5 kilmetres) and Bardolino (1,5 kilmetres). Very many restaurants with good food, shops and surfing center. Directly to the promenade with restaurants and bars. Recommended!

We have been going to Serenella for 7 years now. We are always going to go somewhere else but are always drawn back to Serenella. We have been caravanning on the continent for the past 36 years and find this one of the best sites.
