Travelling party: Seniors

A lovely quiet adults only site, set back from the road. There is a little road noise, but that quietens down in the evening Being in Holland there are lots of cycle paths and lots of walks. The pitches are all individual and spacious, there is a large chess set in one of the areas along with a boules court. The owners are really nice and speak English. Well worth staying at, but be prepared to do a lot of miles to see around the area.

On arrival we were met by the very friendly owner who showed us to our pitch. The pitches are fairly large and set in groups of about 8. on one of the sections there is a boules court and a large chess set. The toilets are very good. Some of the sections allow dogs. If you don\'t have a breathable groundsheet, the owner will provide one FOC. The nearby village is pleasant and the area is very nice. Close by you can watch ghe boats go up the canal. Would I go back? The answer is \'Yes\'.

Jelly\'s Hoeve is a lovely site and the owners are really nice and very helpful. They also speak very good English. The toilets and showers are unisex and are very clean. All the pitches are fairly large and hedged, the water taps tend to be in the centre of each section and each section has approximately 8 pitches and there is a drainage point between 2 pitches. Some pitches looked like they have there own water tap.

This site is close to a road, but don\'t let that put you off as it goes very quiet on a night time. Beside the road is a canal which is fairly busy and great to watch. The area is fairlry rural and you do need to be prepared to travel if you want to see the countryside. All in all we enjoyed our visit.
