Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed in May 2017 for 2 nights. Excellent, well run site. The only quibble I had was the description on this site and in the book. It was NOT quiet! Its a very large and busy site, with lots of facilities and activities for children, who were everywhere. There was also piped music playing. None of this was a bad thing. The place was lively and cheerful, the children were a joy, and even the music was to my taste! As I said, its just that it wasnt quiet, but very large and busy. Dogs are allowed, but as is quite reasonable, they ask you to exercise them off site. No problem, except that our pitch was a LONG way from either exit, (best part of 10 minutes at my speed) and a dog wont make it that far. They need pedestrian gates in more places. I did find a short stretch of canal bank which was accessible, but Im not sure if that was breaking the rules.
