Perfect site for visiting Haro. The centre of the Rioja region. Plenty of space and excellent facilities.

Well kept campsite within easy walking distance to the town. 10 minute walk to big supermarket and 5 minute walk to the various wineries we will definitely come again.

If you enjoy red wine, what a place, the capital of Rioja. We didn’t have a reservation but we’re easily accommodated on a premium pitch (7m motorhome). The pitch is nice and flat and bear to the washing facilities and swimming pool. The pool was great, cool but refreshing and newly refurbished with a great ramp for older, young or disabled and a kid’s paddling pool. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English. Haro old town is a 10 minute walk up the hill and there a lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. This week is the festival of the town’s patron saint and the streets are packed in the evening. A five minute walk and you are in the historic Station area where lots of Bodegas have their warehouses. You can taste and buy from all them, literally a stones throw from the campsite. The surrounding mountains and vineyards would also be amazing to explore if we had more time. I’m pretty sure we’ll be back. The WiFi is a bit dodgy but the phone signal isn’t too bad. A great find and a great price.

Lovely clean picturesque site. Mostly used by the English coming or returning via the ferry. Even so peaceful. Reasonable hardstandings of good size with lots of mobile homes. Easy to walk into the town and good for cycling around the area which was beautiful. Lots of places to enjoy wine tasting. In all a good site.

Stayed here for four nighs on our return to Bilbao. There were many Brit’s staying here like us as it’s a good stop before getting the ferry home as it’s only about 2 hours to Bilbao. The toilet and shower facilities were very good, with lovely powerful showers. Pitch was ok in size for our 6.2 metre MH, with small hedges around the plot. The site looks well kept with lots of trees and shrubs dotted all around. The receptionists were helpful and polite. There was a bar / restaurant on site but can’t comment on these as we didn’t use them. The camp is in a good location for walking around the town of Haro which had some interesting buildings and wineries that could be visited for wine tastings. There is a Mercadona within a ten minute walk. We stopped here as we needed to book into a vet for treatment before heading to the ferry port which we were able to do. Unfortunately the weather was pretty wet and cool with rain and snow showers so probably didn’t see the camp at its best as our plot got pretty muddy by day 4.

The site is in a great location. 15 min walk into town and to the bodegas too. Can highly recommend Muga, the tour was full but the tasting session was good.
The town is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants.
I would advise not to arrive on a week end. We got there on a Saturday and itcwas rammed. There were loads of kids running wild. But by sunday they had all disappeared. There are quite a few statics, sme are well kept but others were a bit of sn eyesore. The pool was clised but it looked quite big with a big slide aswell.
The bar was great and quite inexpensive. (a pint and a wine €4). There was a good selection if food on the menu, again not too expensive. There were a good few tapas on offer at the bar aswell.
Yes we\'d call again, (not at a week end) on our way too or from the ports.

Really convenient site and lovely clean warm sanitary block. We have stayed a few times, always with success. Bar offers range of food and drink and very popular with locals. They also have small supply of groceries and bread can be ordered. Pitches have gravel and are flat. Town is easy to get to and nice. Masses of wineries. Would recommend. Small niggle that Reception opening hours not on website but you can enter till 23.00 hours after Reception closes.

This is in a good location for the town which is a great place for food and drink. Saturday the town was buzzing all day. We loved the toilets and showers, plus the shady pitches after good. We stayed in D area which was quiet. There are lots of permanent placements but they are very tidy unlike a lot of other sites. We completed a 8 km walk around the vines. The countryside is beautiful. Would recommend.

We stay here as a midway stop before going to Santander. The pitches and divided by hedges but are not very long, so bigger motorhomes, caravans etc tend to pitch on the large open area nearby. Facilities are lovely and clean. There are two blocks you can use. There are static homes there as well, but out of season not many are occupied. Haro is a must for the wine lovers with bodegas close by. The centre of Haro is a lovely square with coffee shops and a lovely church. The pool was closed when we were there and no food was available so can’t comment on those.
