Travelling party: Couple

Stayed here March 2017, wifi did not work anywhere on site, showers were cool, there is a heater on the wall worked by movement sensor but once you have passed it, it goes off, so no use at all. When you come out of the shower block, it feels warmer outside even early March. Restaurant did not open until 8.00pm. Too expensive compared with others.

Visit was early March 2017 Wifi did not work at all anywhere, showers had a wall heater in the entrance which came on via a motion sensor and immediatey went off again... no use at all
Shower was so cool that it felt warm when you came outside again! It is vastly overpriced against others. Restaurant didn\'t open until 8.00pm...
Will find an alternative next time for a one night stop.

for a stop over it is adequate the site is very poorly run with staff not knowing what pitches are available and the pitches are very small and unkept it is over priced for what it is the facilities are very good I for one will not6 stop here again

What a great site, couldn\'t fault the facilities but what a shame about the smell of pigs. As a person that used to rear pigs I didn\'t find the smell too bad at first but the next morning the farmer was spreading the slurry on the fields well what a pong. The railway was close by along with the busy road but we hardly heard much noise from either. A good site for a one night stop over

The most uncomfortable night of my 2 week camping tour of Spain & France. The smell from the local farm is noxious at times but the worst aspect was the biting/ stinging mosquitos leaving me feeling most unwell and uncomfortable for the remainder of the trip. Prices in bar were a bit steep. Definitely one to avoid.

We have overnighted twice here now and would not recommend it to anybody. We were here this week and the previously mentioned problems of the stench of sewage, terrible biting flies or mosquitos, rough pitches and poor or non existent internet were all evident. The pool, according to Acsi is open from the start of May, but was devoid of water in June. As mentioned by other reviewers, the road is busy and very close by the railway is close but not so bad. Unfortunately it is situated where there are few alternatives. The bar was not bad but was expensive (captive audience). David on the reception was not as bad as some have made him out and tried to help. The pitches are uneven and some could not be accessed with a motorhome as the rear of the vehicle would touch down on trying to enter the pitch.

Great for a one night stop as food is availalable untill 20:00 although tapas snacks seem to be constantly available and used by locals. No matter where you park road noise throughout the night is unavoidable the ACSI inspector must have a hearing inpairment as no indication is made of the noise from the main road and railway line.

We went on the review in the ACSI website and must say that we have been disappointed.
The website states that water connection and Waste connection are available within 15 meters of the site. This is not true. The only dump site is at the entrance. The Campsite has superb shower/toilet facilities but the sites are overgrown and full of weeds. The campsite is situated with a busy road on one side and a Railway not far away on the opposite side. Judging by the odour a \\\"Pig\\\" farm is close by. There are some beautiful towns and villages nearby and so all in all we enjoyed our stay. We will however not be back. David the reception staff member was very helpful. I feel that this is very excessive.

Not much else to say really. The site is in the middle of nowhere, but saying that there must be some civilisation nearby as the road is v busy with trucks. Internet works within 20 m of reception. Fortunately it was dry on our stopover. Avoided the site on the way back.

We stopped over for one night. The receptionist, young male was surly and disinterested making sure he had finished the track on his iPod before speaking. Toilet block was clean but with the irritating push button for water that lasted a maximum of 2 seconds before needing pressing again. The pitches are in a terrible state deeply rutted and as soon as any moisture hits them they turn into a mud bath. I concur it is noisy but bearable and there was a terrible farm yard smell most of the evening. Arrive late and leave early, one night only; don't holiday there.
