Large site where pitches vary in size greatly. Unclear whether ACSI price covers all pitch sizes - some campers said told only smallest pitches - we were allocated a larger pitch. Indoor swimming pool is wonderful in winter - loved it. Supermarket very comprehensively stocked and prices same as franchise in next town. Reception staff brisk and efficient. Toilets and showers always immaculate.
We chose this site because it allowed dogs, however on arrival we were faced with a No Dog sign. On further examination we discovered that dogs were confined to about 14 pitches near to the gate. Since people without dogs were also using these pitches it would seem that it could be difficult to secure a dog allocated pitch during busy periods. The pitch we chose was large and ideal for us. The only problem was the fact that it was close to reception and the Mynah bird that lived there. This would start to chirp and sing, quite loudly as soon as the sun came up, not too bad at 7am in April but not sure how popular it would be in the summer months when the sun rises at 4am!
The showers and sanitary facilities were very good. The prices at the camp supermarket were generally reasonable; so to was the food and drinks at the nearby bar/ restaurant. Unfortunately the main swimming pool was being renovated and didn’t open in time for easter. The beach is just across the road. The internet was expensive , connection was slow although when I discussed this with reception I was told that everyone else had a good connection but that a technician would come out in the next hour……..nobody came. Over Easter the site became quite full and again we were unfortunate to have two inconsiderate Spanish families sharing a pitch close to ours. These people would tie there dog to a tree on the pitch and go out for the day, usually returning around midnight, on one occasion they returned at that time and started to have a bbq. Whilst they were away their dog would be howling and barking constantly. This was all in front of the reception area approximately 30 yards away. Would I go back here again? Probably as sometimes a visit can just be a mixture of a series of unfortunate events and I take some reassurance from the fact that many Brits on a winter rally really liked the site.
Personalmente me gusta bastante lugar tranquilo junto al mar mediterraneo perfecto para familias restaurante de autentico lujo asi como estupendo super a precios muy muy razonables.
We used the site as a stop over. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Access via sat nav east bound was not good. Position is good right next to a beach. Toilets and showers very good and roomy. Pitches are very roomy and accessible. Would recommend
This is a very nice site and the staff are helpful and friendly. However although ACSI we reserved a larger pitch for a twin axle caravan and told them that we had three small dogs. We were allocated a pitch in the no dog area so had to locate another pitch however this was not a problem as we could not get onto the allocated pitch as with a twin axle we could not turn into the roadway to the pitch. Otherwise happy with the site.
Well maintained site only separated from the beach by a quiet road. Some pitches are tight to access with a large caravan but doable with a mover. Excellent facilities, nice town nearby, good cycling and walking.
Narrow roads single carriage, once leaving the main 340 unless you go through Alcossebre.
Good flat pitches on shingle, Hot showers good laundry. Has small food shop with Spar in the town.
Camp site right on breach with good flat cycling.
Down side, Dogs barking most nights from kennels.
Only stayed 2 nights, but we were most impressed.Very friendly staff. The best equipped site we have see.Adjacent Supermarket at normal prices.Even baby bath and dog showers provided.Beach 20 m across the road. Many different sized plots available. We will be back.
Stayed for 3 weeks Feb 2017 on the camping & caravan club rally. Very good site, Facilities kept very clean. Well stocked small Consum supermarket on site (a bigger one in the town). Dog pitches are at the front of the site which is fine for us: nearer the exit, reception, shop, pool etc. Indoor pool lovely and warm. Nice bar and restaurant on the site. Dogs tolerated on the beach, just across the small road outside the campsite, at this time of year. Easy bike ride or about 45 mins stroll into Alcossebra. A few nice coffee bars were open along the sea front.
An excellent campsite immediately adjacent to the sea with good sized pitches allowing fairly easy access, It has a well stocked supermarket on-site with some camping equipment available. The staff were friendly and efficient and the site and facilities well maintained and very clean. The restaurant, which appears to be family run, was extremely good with a menu del dia served both at midday and in the evening, and provided excellent value for money.

* Amenities in bold are not included in the overnight price, unless it is an amenity that is included as standard in the CampingCard ACSI rate. For instance, one dog is included in the rate (if dogs are permitted in general), but it is likely you will need to pay extra for a second or third dog. One hot shower per person per night is included, but you may have to pay for a second hot shower. This does not imply that all amenities not in bold are free! Some may need to be paid for.
