We stayed here as a stop over on the way from Valencia to Barcelona. A lovely campsite with lots of flowers and trees. It has a good swimming pool with little slide. The toilets were clean and ok. The staff were also very nice.
FLIES FLIES AND MORE FLIES.,HAVE LESS ON THE COUNCIL TIP BACK IN THE UK.
GUY ON THE DESK WITH VERY WORN FLY SWATER WONDERED WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS!
PITCHES LOOKED MORE SUITED TO CARAVANS OUR SMALLER CAMPERS ,VERY TIGHT SHADED PITCHES.
IF YOU LIKE HILL WALKING THIS MIGHT BE FOR YOU.
A beautiful friendly campsite. Lovely clean toilets, showers and pool. The only drawback is the flies, which seem to come from a neighbouring pig farm.
we are here now and it is wonderful, although the fridge is broken the owner couldn\'t do enough. she called an engineer who is coming out tomorrow .not bad eh . lovely site. , quiet, clean, modern and oh so chilling, got to come back
We called here for a couple of nights and stayed for nearly 3 weeks. The best site we have visited in Spain. Excellent, spotless facilities including piped music, a nice touch. As we were in a motorhome we walked to the traditional village of Calig (about 20 mins) it\'s not the prettiest of villages but certainly one of the friendliest, there is all you need & it\'s great to wander round the little streets to find another little shop....a must is Pink & Choco...the best cakes, pastries & more, we made some lovely friends. I would love to keep this site a secret but can\'t resist telling everyone about it, it is truly delightful, we didn\'t want to leave and will definitely be back.
Lovely site, even lovelier people. Small site set in old orchard, varied individual pitches with privacy. Lovely helpful owners. I needed help with a sudden toothache problem talked to owner who phoned his dentist and set me up with an appointment with an English speaking dentist for the next day. But what\'s more his wife was going in to town to take Benji (the dog) for a haircut so she could give us a lift there and back. Prescription for antibiotics and I am sorted. Stock up before you arrive as Calig has nothing! Fresh bread , pizzas and frites available at bar, but really just chill.
A great modern campsite with good staff and a wonderful swimming pool. The poolside cafe offers a very limited menu and the shop is poorly stocked.
What spoilt an otherwise perfect site was the flies! They were numerous and very very irritating - the camp owner served us drinks from the bar carrying a fly swat !!
A great shame.
What a lovely site! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and the pitches, setting, site is lovely and a credit to the owners. The facilities here were among the best we\'ve ever seen too - even the view from them is great! There are olives and fruit trees all around the site. Calig itself doesn\'t have much to offer though there is a small supermarket, bakers and cafes and the town is pleasant enough. A great \"get away from it all\" site which we hope to return to.
We stayed here in February 2015 and stayed for several nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful and at last a campsite in Spain that isn\'t like a car park more like staying in a very attractive garden. Superb facilities clean and efficient, lovely area for walking and an easy walk into the nearest town. The campsite was so good we called in and stayed for 3 more nights before returning home. Will definitely be back.
We spent three nights here, for two of which we were the only occupants! What a lovely site! The friendly, helpful French owners opened in January for the first time this year, and word doesn\'t seem to have got around yet. Wonderful spacious, private pitches separated by well-tended trees and bushes, spotlessly clean facilities and delightful views of the surrounding hills and distant sea. A gem of a site!
