Travelling party: Seniors

We stayed five nights on this site and would definitely return. The pitches are an excellent size and the toilet facilities cleaned regularly. There is a restaurant and a very good pool but we didn\'t use either. At the time we were there sea was warm and the town, just two minutes away, is delightful with many excellent places to eat.

Excellent site. Unlike every other site we stayed on this one did NOT charge a tourist tax so the price as advertised was really the price! As we stayed 8 night and got a night free this meant we payed per night which made it excellent value.
At first we were concerned that all the sanitaires are upstairs (my wife is disabled) but it transpired that there is a wet room available on a deposit for a key. If you need this then be sure to camp on the southern (poolside) section.
The swimming pool is the best I have ever used bar none.
We are already planning to return.

Travelling party: Couple

Stayed on El Edén for three nights, campsite is easy to find and well signposted. Pitches are a good size and have a sink and water. Would think the trees give good shade. Toilets and showers are very good, always clean and warm. A 20 minute walk to the town, the Castle is definatley worth a visit, very interesting.

Travelling party: Couple

great campsite in a lovely town. well run good facilities, clean and good sized pitches, although a few have a tree in the way for bigger vans.
don\'t waste money on WiFi, as signal is lousy! free in the restaurant and much better.
Restaurant is over the road but is excellent. Staff are friendly, polite and food is of a high standard and very reasonable.

Travelling party: Couple

A Large campsite divided into two camping areas by a quiet road. We chose to stay on the north area as it seemed quieter. The pool and restaurant were in the south area. Pitches are a good size and marked by mature trees & hedges. Each pitch has a sink / drainer with cold water. The shower block is good and kept clean but has steps into it. The beach is easy walking distance & is delightful. Local supermarkets are nearby. Very nice site.

Travelling party: Couple

Good site but a bit tight for large units but we got a pitch and our unit is 9 meters lovely staff toilets are lovely and clean every pitch has it\'s own sink great pool and lots of cycle paths and plenty places to walk right on the main promenade definitely a place to go back to only bad think was wifi not good even when you paid for it

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site, pitches are on gravel hard standing. Each pitch has a tree.
This site is split into two, one is one side of road and one opposite on a quite road. Swimming pool is very nice and play area for children.
Reception extremely helpful. All the amenities are extremely clean.
Site has a barrier which is operated by a key.
Beach, shops and restaurants all with in walking distance of site.
Has a cycle path so safe for all ages to bike.
Peniscola is beautiful and really worth visiting.

Travelling party: Seniors

A very big site in 2 areas either side of the road. We were fortunate to be away from the pool as it was very noisy. Staff very helpful and speak good English. Ground like concrete so stout pegs required. Lovely beach and promenade 2 minutes walk away. Will definitely return again.

Mrs Brown, on this campsite in November 2014

Travelling party: Couple

Well located campsite right on the beach and a 20 minute stroll along the promenade from Peniscola itself. Cycle lane marked out along the promenade. The site is split in two by a small road. Both sides are securely fenced with barriers and public access via a key. We were booked in for 10 nights but only managed 6 due to howling neighbourhood dogs keeping us awake - not the campsite\'s fault but still spoilt it for us. Reception excellent and open long hours with fresh bread and croissants from 8:30am. On site café/bar and restaurant and sufficient bars and restaurants in Peniscola to meet demand in the off season. On site supermarket was closed despite site being 85% occupied and nearest one was about 1km away. Metal sink in each plot very useful. Many plots are not suitable for large and/or tall units due to low overhanging trees, some of which are in the middle of plots!! The campsite\'s own website has a site plan and dimensions for each pitch and it is well worth planning ahead and choosing your pitch carefully. The lanes between pitches are quite narrow and corners tight. You can reserve a particular pitch if you book through the website and pay a deposit. Wouldn\'t recommend arriving after dark. No self service washing machines but campsite offer a laundry service the price depends on what temperature they wash at. You have to pay for Wi-Fi. Good signal but can be slow at peak times.

A wonderful site close to the beach and the beautiful old town. A wonderful on site restaurant with very helpful staff
