Used this site as a stopover on our way back from the south and so glad we did. Site was fairly quiet in September as most people doing just a one night stopover. We did two nights in order to take in a bodega. We went to CVNE which is a short walk away. The times of their tours are listed on their site and are bookable in advance via the site. We staggered back with several carriers of wine so we were glad it was so accessible.
There are also plenty of bars, restaurants and shops in the town, again not too far to walk to.
A good convenient site for visiting the Bodegas in the area and for a short walk into Haro itself. Haro is well worth a visit for the cafes and shops. Tihe pitches are quite small and it was very was very busy even in early September.
Staff very unwelcoming, felt they couldn\'t wait to get rid of us, no help finding a pitch, just a go help yourself attitude. It was a bit confusing which pitches had electric and which didn\'t, plus some pitches very difficult to maneuver into. Many pitches are taken up with permanent occupancies. Over hanging trees a problem on some pitches. Electric boxes can be quite a distance from vehicle, the first pitch we selected our cable didn\'t reach the box so had to find another place. Advertised as having free wifi around bar area but when we started to use it realised it was only free for the first hour after that you had to pay the quite expensive daily rate. We only stayed one night and would never return. When we checked out staff very unfriendly again.
Op advies van een ASCI medewerkster naar deze camping gegaan. Hadden een mooi, rustig plekje voor onze tent. Sanitair was netjes. Wij vonden de camping het personeel niet zo vriendelijk. Ivm met een grote groep jongelui die aangekomen waren hadden we \'s ochtends geen brood. Hier was geen rekening mee gehouden. Jammer. Dorpje verderop alles gesloten ivm feest. Omgeving mooi.
Staff very friendly.
Very clean toilet faculties which were heated as it was cold in June.
Would use again
A great \'last stop\' before catching the ferry from Bilbao as only just over an hour away. A pleasant short walk into the lovely town that has many restaurants and bars. Also a vet that is within walking distance for the dog\'s visit before returning to the UK. By the campsite is a wine route that can be walked or cycled.
The toilet facilities were spotlessly clean and our pitch was a good size. Will definitely be back!
Pleasant site in pretty area. Good range of pitches with good facilities. pleasant local town and great wines
Stopped off here for 1 night- English speaking staff in office were helpful. Pitch was fine and a good size for our 7m motorhome. Lovely clean swimming pool with lifeguard. Walked into Haro and spent a relaxed afternoon in one of the bars in the main square. Showers were clean and lovely and hot! The motorhome even got a wash before leaving as they had a designated area for this next to the mh service point. Will return on next trip down to the south.
Out of season so site quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilets were clean with good showers. Some of the pitches were a bit small but we were able to park on the central grass area which was virtually empty.
