Delightful campsite, full of nature and birdsong and lovely shaded pitches. Owners very welcoming and sociable with lots of facilities - bar area, shop, meals served, washing machine.

Our first time to this beautiful region of France. We were given a very warm welcome by Nigel & Jenny, the English owners. They were very helpful & knowledgeable about the area. The pitches are large grassy & surrounded by trees which provide some welcome shade on those hot afternoons. We found the facilities exceptionally clean & tidy. Fresh bread, croissants etc are available daily, as well as ice creams, drinks & delicious home made pizzas. There are many stunning walks & cycle rides from the site to picturesque nearby villages. This site offers peace & tranquility in beautiful surroundings, just the relaxing holiday you dream of. We will definetly return.

A pleasant English-run campsite very close to the River Lot. Large grassy pitches are not all level. Toilet facilities are okay and were kept very clean during our stay. There is a small on-site shop, bar and snack.

Travelling party: Group of friends

Just spent a blissful 5 days at this site (June 2017), taking advantage of the new Southampton – Rodez Eastern Airlines route. Very peaceful and friendly with a good range of facilities including shower blocks, laundry facilities, café, bar and swimming pool. Nigel and Jenny (and dog Millie) are very hospitable but not intrusively so and very helpful in booking local facilities if your French is not up to it. Access to all the attractions of the beautiful Lot and neighbouring Célé valleys and we would recommend kayaking on the Célé and many walks in the Lot valley (we did Bouziès to St Cirq Lapopie – no. 4 in the Lot à Pied guide book, which we left on site for future walkers). Essentials shopping available in Carjac and slightly more on offer in Figeac, which is a lovely town for an authentic France experience.

We visited this campsite on impulse whilst touring France it was that nice we decided to stay 4 nights instead of 2.
Nigel and Jenny were readily available for advice about the area, both nice pleasant people.
The pitches were lovely and a good size.
Others campers described it best as a little piece of heaven it was so quiet. The facilities were clean and tidy.
The pizzas from site were lovely.

Very peaceful campsite at this time of the year with extremely generous pitches and helpful owners. Local villages very quiet with the exception of St Cirq which has an excellent range of restaurants to cater for the many tourists.

We have stayed on this campsite on several occasions, it is set in the most stunning & beautiful area of the Lot Valley. There are plenty of places to visit, you can hire canoes in the nearby area for fun days out on the Lot and Cele rivers, which is great. Campsite has large spacious pitches, 2 pools which are great for a cool down after a long day visiting local areas. The 2 shower blocks were very clean. The owners Jenny & Nigel were very helpful and friendly especially when our dog became ill they made appointments at the vets, translated and even drove us there and back on several occasions, we couldn't have asked for more helpful owners. Will definitely return and would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful site. Fairly flat pitches in small fields with a stream running through in a wooded valley. Wild orchids on site. The owners were friendly and helpful. The absolute peace and quiet and birdsong in May was wonderful. We came for a week and stayed two. The surrounding area has lots to see. As the site was almost empty rather than open the office to supply our bread in the morning the owners delivered it to the caravan. Can't recommend too highly if you want peace and plenty to see out of season. Obviously I can't comment on what it is like in high season.

Travelling party: Family with children, various ages

Yes I agree with the previous reviewer, Nigel was also very rude to us. He speaks to you as though you are a child he has no manners or customer service skills. You are not allowed to wear swimming shorts in the pool, or chat outside after 10 o'clock. It is a shame because the site could be so very nice!!!

This is a lovely site in a stunning location .It is set in a narrow valley with a stream running through. The pitches were large and , in early June, we had plenty of choice. There was an information folder with details of local walks, cycle routes, local markets etc, which was very helpful. We did the walk directly from the site which was a lovely walk, about 6 miles, with lovely views and full of interest. The beautiful village of Cirq Lapopie is close by, as are many other lovely villages. The Lot valley is stunning and this site was perfect as a base for exploring the area.
