This is our second time on this site and have taken an option for next year. all staff are very pleasant and nothing to much trouble. Find it very difficult to pick fault with anything
The site was very good in May /June . The toilets were well kept and the staff were excellent. We were at the site on half term and many people complained that the pools were just too busy. This site was not for us as the pitches were too close together and the privacy was zero. The area is as you would expect . Just too busy for old fogies like us.
A lovely campsite, brilliant staff. The views from our pitch of the Esterel are breathtaking. Happy hour very popular at the bar. Excellent shop on site, not overpriced and always well stocked. Great croissants etc.
Smart restaurant. Cycle routes from site to Agay makes it much safer to cycle. Uphill all the way back so electric bikes great for us. We have already booked for next year.
We were allocated a pitch on arrival but also told we could select from a number of others. We went for the pitch allocated which offered us plenty of shade and was reasonably close to the washrooms which were excellent and cleaned regularly.
This is a large and busy site and has plenty to offer if you want to make use of it. The bar area at happy hour is a nice start to the evening and the pool area and surrounding views are lovely.
There is water and drainage on all pitches but there are very few which would have worked for us in our caravan as many of the drainage outlets are uphill. To enable us to make use of both we had to go right up to the boundary of our pitch which our British neighbours obviously took exception to.
The beaches are lovely as are the Esterel mountains and the surrounding towns which are very lively and nice for a change from serene Agay which is a little gem.
We had a wonderful time and would visit again.
This is our second time here, love it.. The facilities are excellent, from Tennis, table tennis, boules and even crazy golf. Bar and restaurant is good and even a happy hour twice a day.
Excellent for kids with huge pools and slides
The pitches could do with improving however, a little unkept nothing a good rake would put right.
The shop is well stocked and not over priced, and the reception staff are excellent, could not do enough for you.
The cycle into Agay is very safe with a cycle track most of the way and spectacular views when there. Nice sandy beach also...
Used as a stopover, this is a very busy site with lots of fixed chalet type accommodation. It would be a great site for a family with kids as there is lots to do. As seniors, we found it cramped as the pitches were tight, very little privacy. Some good walks in the adjacent heathland. All considered we would not use this site again.
I notice that this site is new to ACSI and there are few reviews. I'm guessing it won't be long before it becomes one of the most popular. It's a fantastic site in all respects, if you like big, well-run sites with many amenities. The facilities for children are excellent, which might suit ACSI members with very young children. There is even an indoor water adventure play area for up to 7 year olds. It's 3 km down to Agay and the beautiful Esterel coast. Buses and trains run regularly to Nice and elsewhere. The nearest bus stop is 1km away.
