Friendly staff, Camping vehicles were crammed in on the lower terraces, although ours was okay on the second terrace. Good water and drainage on the pitch. Very disappointed that there was only one Chemical Waste point for the whole site. Worst croissant I have ever experienced. On the plus side excellent location for visiting Florence, Lucca and Pisa.
We had a fantastic time at this very friendly campsite. staff are very helpful and accomodating. Site is ideally situated to visit the surrounding areas. The Restaurant on site is efficient clean and serves gorgeous food with a friendly smile. Would not hesitate to come back. Grazie mille
A lovely, friendly campsite in a beautiful location. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were more than happy to help with any queries. The restaurant food was lovely, as were the pizza\'s. The site was clean and tidy with lovely views over the Tuscan hills and within easy reach of Lucca and Florence. Well worth a visit.
The site wasn’t easy to find as it’s a couple of miles above Montecatino Therme in the hills. It’s better to follow signs for Montecatino Alto on SATNAV. On the whole we liked the site even though we chose our pitch badly and ended up on a pitch along the bottom with a very narrow access lane and difficult turning space, scraping our motorhome on the overhanging trees. There were lots of olive trees around the site offering shade. The slightly higher pitches had much easier access than ours and had individual sanitary blocks. These were charged as extras to the ACSI price if you used them but the pitches were also available during our stay at standard rate without a key for the private facilities. The main toilet and shower blocks were clean but with no seats or loo paper. The showers were small with no separate dry area. The toilet/shower block near the top of the site seems newer and to a higher standard. The site is terraced higher up and had good views on a lot of pitches. There was also a lovely dog walk up at the top of the site. There was a lovely bar restaurant on site, dog friendly and serving good food at reasonable prices. The restaurant had friendly staff and a good ambiance. It was busy both nights of our stay. The swimming pool looked lovely although we didn’t venture in. We would come back here if we were in the area.

OK the pool has restricted times, our waitress was off chasing another member of staff when we tried to pay and the gates do close at lunch (they have to eat). I still loved this site, the toilets are CLEAN all the time. If your planning this area go here.
Great places to visit just ask at reception, they also have a free book exchange.
